TravelBar will hold in several stages, one per country-host.
Preliminary list of countries, we plan to visit - stages:
- Estonia - visiting Tallinn , meeting with start-upers from OpenCoffee community (February, 5th, 9-11AM), meeting with members of Tallinn Developers club (February, 5-6th or February, 9-10th), organizing common event (minibar), hiking in Tallinn .
- Latvia - visiting Riga and taking part in, one can say, general Baltic event of the year for IT and new media activists - Barcamp Baltics'09 . That means: meetings with barcampers from 20+ countries around the world, participating in start-ups competition - Barcamp Idol (February, 8th), hiking in Riga , parties in clubs on everyday (February, 6th, 7th and 8th).
- Lithuania - visiting Vilnus , the cultural capital of Europe in 2009 (February, 9-10th or February, 5-6th): hiking in Vilnus , taking part in events (we expect some offers from Lithuanians, we look for partners). Preliminary a meeting with organizers of Blogin (bloggers conference) was planned.
Each stage will last some days. As for now only dates for visiting Latvia are defined exactly - February, 6-8th, 2009.
Time for other stages will be specified as participant will get their visas and tickets.
Perhaps, all participants will be broken up into two groups: those who visit Vilnus first and those who start from Tallinn . It depends on ways people choose to get to Barcamp Baltics'09 .
