About TravelBar
TravelBar Baltics - is the bloggers journey through Baltic countries. It will take place on February (approx. from 5th till 12th) in 2009.
On this website TravelBar Baltics also called as TravelBar, bloggers journey, barcampers trip or just journey.
While posting in blogs about TravelBar, please, use tags: travelbar0209 and travelbar.
During the journey an international team of bloggers, journalists, developers and other specialists and enthusiasts in IT and new media will visits several countries and takes part in number of events.
As for now there are participants from 4 countries-guests and form 2 countries-hosts. Expected that more participants of Barcamp Baltics'09 (from 20+ countries) join to TravelBar.
The journey is organizing by participants themselves in accordance with barcamp principles.
There are some goals of TravelBar we can tell about now:
- exchange of experience (in organizing such kid of "new media"-rich events, managing start-ups, IT-education for non-geeks, using new media technologies in our everyday life and so on.);
- establish new international relations between new media activists and consolidate relations that already exist;
- promotion of minibars(in Russian, sorry) as a kind of events extremely attractive for supporting by all smart persons and companies.
