TravelBar stands for "travel" and "minibar", which stands for "mini-barcamp".
The journey will take place in Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia approximately at February, 5-12th, 2009.
The largest event though the journey is Barcamp Baltics 2009 (February, 6-8th, 2009, in Riga , Latvia).

About this website
The goal of the website - informative support for TravelBar Baltics participants and people who interested in journey, new media activity in Baltics on February 2009 and their results.
The content of the website will refresh little-by-little while the participants will prepare for the journey.
Watch for the news in Live Journal community iCamp (in Russian) and subscribe to RSS feeds.
Website has two RSS feeds: News and Status. The Status feed is planned for splaying latest actual information on others site as some kind of a widget. Some other widgets may be available soon.
While preparing to the journey the website contain information needed for participants.
During the journey website state will be changed to mobile mode, which useful for "on the go" access from mobile devices(netbooks, PDAs or mobile phones). The emphasis will be placed on information participants needs on-site.
After journey ends the website will be switched to "showcase" mode. The emphasis will be placed on results of TravelBar (reports, photographs, videos and podcasts made by participants)and plans for the future (upcoming travelbars, minibars, xPoints an so on).
